CAR-T cell therapy in China

China's NMPA has approved at least eight CAR-T products since 2021, including satri-cel in June 2026, the first CAR-T approved for a solid tumor. Two (axi-cel and cilta-cel) are also FDA-approved. Access is through hospital hematology or oncology teams, often via international departments, or through clinical trials.
